Just posted some video clips from a reading of my opera in progress, “The MegaState” at YouTube.
I started working on this about 15 months ago as a futuristic, dystopian vision of the planet under single governmental rule. Lo and behold, it seems like the future is arriving everyday! But it was futuristic when I conceived of it! I swear!
I’ve been describing it as sort of a mashup of Blade Runner, The Matrix, Star Wars all to a thunderous operatic/cinematic score…
